Lost all of my AI edits

I copied my huge 132gb folder from my computer to my hard drive to free space....its still on my computer, but it has lost all of my edits on my photos I was working on...like the masks just have an exclamation point saying redo. I sick!!! please can anyone tell how I can make this program find the edits that are obviously in there. I'm literaly lost!

This might help narrow down the cause and solution:

When you copied from your computer to your hard drive, which items did you copy?

A. The Lightroom Classic catalog.

B. The folder containing the Lightroom Classic catalog and the other related files in that foler (previews, data files…).

C. The photos, leaving the catalog on the computer.

D. The Lightroom Classic catalog, its folders, and the folders containing the cataloged original photos.

E. Other: ________________________

I don't know what you mean. .. I copied the catalog to my hard drive (still on my conputer's drive, backed up to a different folder on my hardrive when I exited. Now it gave me a pop up when I chose the different option and told me that AI wouldn't copy from previous...I thought it meant like my old stuff...yep I have no idea what's going on or what I did, but I know I have that 132gb on my computer and on a hard drive, but all of my AI work in LrC that Ive done is not on the pictures!!! Can you direct me
