Lost the images from mac after importing to lr

Hi there,

Recently I imported some photos from my mac to LR 5, then I noticed the images no longer in the folder (in Mac).

If anybody know the solution please reply me.

It is possible you accidentally imported the photos using COPY or MOVE instead of using ADD. In this case, the photos will be in a different folder than you think they should be in when viewing the folders in Lightroom. You can search within Lightroom (click on All Photographs) then searching by file name using the Filter Bar. You can also search for the photos by searching all hard disks by file name using your operating system.

When you import images, you have a choice between just adding them to the catalog and leaving them in their location, or adding them to the catalog and moving or copying them to another location. Apparently you chose the second option, so the images were moved to another place. To find out where they are, select one of the images in Lightroom and then choose 'Photo - Show in Finder'.

Sorry that some images have gone missing from your Mac after you've imported them in Lightroom 5.
