Loupe view not available on main monitor

As I use a second monitor, I have some issues with the main one: Grid (G) is ok, but Loupe (E) leads me to the Grid display. Develop (D) is ok.

On the second monitor everything is fine, Grid (Shift-G) and Loupe (Shift-E) work perfectly.

Is this normal or a bug? I have the feeling that things didn't go this way in a recent past...

Although I don't expect that to be the cause, update to MacOS Sonoma 14.3. You want your Mac to be up to date, if only for security reasons. I also asked about your system (i.e. your Mac). Any non standard hardware (keyboard, mouse)? Have you tried if the secondary monitor shows the same thing with Shift-E? Can you get to Loupe view by clicking on the icon in the left corner of the toolbar? I certainly cannot reproduce it on my Mac.

It's not normal, but it is extremely unlikely that this is a bug. If this was a bug, then it would have been reported by many people by now. This must be something on your system, so start by telling us the details of that system, the version of MacOS, and the version of Lightroom. You could also try if resetting the preferences solves it: https://www.lightroomqueen.com/how-do-i-reset-lightrooms-preferences/
