LR 13.5 Raw 16.5 - Won't Import photos from removable SD Card

I was importing into LR Classic from a micro-SD GoPro card - and I changed the Sort file type to FileType - (to be easily able to import .gpr from .mp4) - and NOW sadly when I put in Sony A7C2 or RX12 cards - the raw files cannot be seen.  This is not due to security permissions for seeing removable drives - I can also copy the .arw files to my hard drive and they can't be seen either.  So it's something "busted" with filters or something. 😞

WEIRD - figured it out - I had to hit the little Destination expander on the bottom right and then the photos showed up.  ODD.

It's not so odd. You need to have a destination selected before you can copy images to that destination. The only thing one could argue is that showing the images but dimming the Import button might be a bit clearer, but in the end the result is the same: you can't import the images and have to find out why.
