LR 14.1.1 face recognition not working

Just updated to 14.1.1. Although faces are detected, none are recognized. Most of the faces are of people that have been recognized in previous versions. (They are not "new" to LR.) Up until now, when faces were not recognized LR would make suggestions. Now all I get is " ? " for every face detected on newly imported images. This seemed to have been an issue in version 6, and for those living in Illinois. I’ve tried the simple stuff, turning it on and then back on again… etc. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have the same issue. Faces are detected but not recognized. Even if I have several shots of the same moment with one person in it they are detected as separate people in every photo. (I live in the Netherlands.) It used to work great.
