LR 15.2,  Windows 11 up to date,  Geforce RTX 3060 with latest studio driver, latest Epson driver

It happens many times (not always) when printing on large paper (A2 42x59 cm) at  300 or 360 dpi that LR crashes during printing, just before sending data to the printer.

The GPU was set to inactive in the preferences (see screen shot)

attached zip file containing 2 screen shots and the error dump produced by LR

This error is really annoying, please help

Thanks

If you save your image as a JPEG or TIFF file and print from a different application, does it work or crash?

Yes it works with PS or the Epson Print utility

In a first step you should try a reset of the preferences of Lightroom Classic:  How to reset Lightroom Classic preferences (adobe.com)

It's recommended to backup your preferences before you reset the preferences to the default settings:

    https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/preference-file-and-other-file-locations.html

If this doesn't help, goto NVidia's site. there’s a new version of the Studio driver available. Download and do a clean install of the driver. Then check.

If this also doesn’t help try to create a new catalogand import several images and check if it’s work.

In case of success you can import the images from the old catalog to the new one.

Try to disable third party plugins in Lightroom. Perhaps there’s a conflict.

It could also be a Windows issue or a hardware problem:

    • Run System File Checker (SFC): Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run sfc /scannow to repair corrupted Windows system files.
    • Check if you have enough free disk space and check also the size of the virtual memory paging file .
    • Check for faulty RAM. Run a memory diagnostic tools to check for hardware issues.
    • Reset or reinstall the printer driver.
