I Have a local LR 4 installed While O started to use LR CC. The metadatabase made by LR 4 was usable and OK.  I used LR 4 version inadvertently to add

picture info to the database.  These additions were not seen in LR CC.  How can I add this info to LR CC database version ?

    Hi otepaappa,

LR 4 and LR CC don't share catalogs - Lightroom always upgrades the catalog when you open it with a newer version, creating a copy of the original.

If you have added images to your LR4 catalog after the LR CC catalog was created, you have two choices:

    1. Reimport the original files to LR CC and make all the adjustments manually (this might be easiest for a single image or very small number of images).

    2. In LR4, choose the image(s) you want to transfer to LR CC. With the images selected, choose File > Export as Catalog, and follow the prompts. You won't need to include the original images in this, if the images are going to be located in the same folder. This will create a new transfer catalog with just the selected images, and will include all your adjustments and ratings. Then, in LR CC, choose File > Import from Catalog..., and choose the transfer catalog you just created.
