LR 5 keeps crashing when zooming into photos via "Develop"

Hi....my LR 5 keeps crashing when zooming into photos via "Develop". I am working on a Mac with the latest OS. Any suggestions? Need help fast!

Lightroom 5 is known to have problems under OSX 10.13 (High Sierra).

Your options are to either upgrade Lightroom or downgrade your operating system.

Sorry that Lightroom 5 i crashing while zooming in to your images while in the Develop module.

Are you using the latest version of Lightroom 5.7.1? Refer these basic set of troubleshooting steps that solves issues most of the times: Troubleshoot Adobe Lightroom problems, issues, or bugs
