LR 6.4 won't preview or import my Canon 5DIV files?

I have LR 6.4 and just tried importing Canon 5D mark IV RAW files for the first time. It shows the "preview unavailable for this file" on the images and after trying to import the .CR2 files it failed....I figured I needed to update my LR so I checked for updates and it's telling me I have the latest version (Lightroom version: 6.4 [ 1060496 ])

Please help as I need to get these files imported and edited ASAP.

You need v6.7 as a minimum. Also see the info at- Cameras supported by Camera Raw

v6.14 is the highest version you can update with, available to download here- Download Photoshop Lightroom

Do not un-install v6.4

You only need to download and run the 'UPDATE' patch- (Click the > to toggle open the details)

I just tried to update to 6.14 per your link above and it failed..here's exactly what the adobe app manager is giving me, any ideas?

My system meets the minimum requirements...now what?
