LR 6: Stuck in loop trying to login into adobe account

Hi there,

Just wanted to use LR6 on a new laptop.

unlinked it from the old one.

After entering the serial - which I confirmed with the support team is all fine and active, the QR prompt to login with adobe results in a cycle. I login, I accept the terms, the window closes and nothing happens anymore.

When running LR again, I'm stuck with the login prompt once more.

Any ideas? Customer service so far was all but helpful...
