Lr C not automatically starting import dialog after update

As the title says, after the latest update to version 12.01 I no longer get an automatic import dialog when hooking up my Canon EOS RP to my iMac M1. I have Ventura, but this bug was present even before updating to the latest macOS.

I am still able to import my photos by manually opening the dialog window. Sometimes Lightroom doesn't even acknowledge that there is a camera connected so I have to either shut off the camera or restart Lightroom.
