LR CC changes file names while importing photos

Past two weeks i have had this problem when importing photos in Lightroom CC. I shoot in mode that takes both jpg and raw (nef) same time. When i imported these photos from card into Lightroom, it changes some of jpg files into raw and named them like this: -2.nef. When i check files in sd-card everything was correct. All files was found in jpg and nef. Any tips what is wrong?

Same thing happened today when i imported photos from Sony rx 100 iii. Only difference that this time LR changes some of raw (arw) files into jpg and named them like: -2.jpg

I have not change any settings during the import. This problem started suddenly. I have now test this few times and strange is that some of the photos (both jpg and raw) imported just fine and some has this "wrong" file name. And i mean in same import session like shown here in photo attached. I took two photos and import them. First image went fine but second not.

Lightroom does not have the capability (nor does any software have the capability) of changing JPG into NEF. Furthermore, NEF files can only be created by certain Nikon cameras. So this suggests an error either in the camera or somehow an error is being made in the transmission of the files from camera card to the hard disk where a file gets duplicated.

Have you used your operating system to examine the contents of the card (without any Lightroom involvement) to see if the duplicates exist there?

This problem has appeared with two different cameras ( Nikon D810 and Sony rx 100 III ). I have also checked afterward all files in sc-card and they were all correct there. That`s how i began to doubt that there is something wrong in LR. The problem seems to be very illogical.

In the Import dialog, are you importing Duplicates?

Have you checked that there a no actions or settings were applying during the import?
