LR CC Classic hangs after exporting 13 photos

After updating to the latest version of LR CC Classic I now have a huge problem.  When I export a bunch of photos to Smugmug, LR hangs up after only exporting 13 photos.  No error messages.  If I try to exit LR I get the pop up that a process is still going on, do I really want to exit.  I say yes, but LR is hung.  I must use Resource Monitor to kill the LR process.  I then start LR up again, and repeat the process until all my photos are exported.  This is maddening:  13 photos at a time then kill LR then repeat until finally all the photos are exported.

This has never happened before.  It only started after the last LR CC Classic Update.

How can I revert back to the prior version of LR?

Why does Adobe release such big ridden software?

I have had the same issue with smugmug, nit always the same number of images published before failure, but yes, the publish stops and I get an error message that a folder could not be found (that’s not exact)

now, that’s a folder at the smugmug server, not on my PC. If I attempt later at night (U.S.A. Pacific) then no such issues

this might be an issue at smugmug nit at your computer???

By the way, can an OP in this forum change the title of a posting, perhaps you can change this one to state Publish instead of Export?

I was able to resolve the export issue with the help of Adobe.  I deleted Lightroom and installed an earlier version.  Good luck!

Tonight I am experiencing the freeze when trying to export photos after developing.  I select export and nothing happens.  The command line grays out and nothing else will work in Lightroom.  I have to kill the program with Task Manager.  When opening Lightroom it opens with the same photo with all of the settings, but freezes again as soon as I hit export.  I removed the photo and started completely over to the same result.  I also updated (although it had just done that last week) and nothing has changed.  I hope Adobe is reviewing this issue as it seems to be happening after their latest update.

To add to my previous post, I noticed that the plugin will only upload 13 photos, same as the original poster.  Interestingly, I had another two photos in the queue to remove from SmugMug. When the plugin froze at 13 uploads this last time, I decided to click on 'Publish' again to see if the two pics to remove would actually execute.  It did!  And the original process finished AND Lightroom continued to work and close normally.  Hmmm...

Same issue.  SmugMug update freezes at the one third point then I can't cancel the upload and I can't close LR normally.  I have to use the task manager.  I'm using the latest SmugMug plugin according to the LR plugin manager.  LR Classic CC 7.2 upgraded from LR6.

Have you tried resetting Lightroom preferences? Doing so often clears odd behaviour.
