LR CC Classic slows down
I am really pi****, Adobe. It all startet in April 2016. LR got an update and from then on, it got slower with every image I worked on. After starting, it was really fast (as it was before). But after clicking 20-30 pictures the time it took to load an image increased. I have to wait 15-20 seconds till the sliders went from grey to black. Also Lightroom used more and more RAM (up to some gigs) and did not release memory if I didnt used LR for some time. I tried everything. Creating a new catalogue, experimenting with the cache size, graphic drivers, preview sizes, even a complete fresh system didn’t help. So I switched to the Version from (I think) Jan/2016. On every Update, I tried. Every time the same. Then, early this year, after updating LR, all the problems are gone. It ran fast as hell. Yesterday I switched to LR CC classic and what should I say? This “bug” is back. LR uses more an more RAM and slows down to a point I can not work. I am really disappointed and I think, I will cancel my subscription. I don’t understand, why it is not possible to solve this problem, which exists now for 1,5 years. I remember that I was not alone. Some other users had the same problem and I am sure there will be other users on the neit days having the same problem. I am not a developer, but I think it should be possible to find such a memory leak. Any ideas?
