LR CC slideshow not syncing music

When I try to sync music to a slideshow, the music loads/syncs most of the way then stops. I can export the slideshow in both PDF and video format but cannot include music. Can't figure out what it wrong. LR is up to date. Mac Mojave 10.14.5

Hi there,

Sorry that you cannot add music to a Slideshow in Lightroom Classic. Which version of Lightroom are you using? Does the problem occurs with only one mp3 file or with all the files that you add? Would you mind checking out the steps mentioned in this article https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/kb/error--sequencer-defunct--when-switching-to-slideshow-module.html and let us know if that helps?

I am running LR cc v8.0
I don't think the link you sent me is relevant to my problem.
The music will not fully upload. I have tried using various MP3 files, none
of which load entirely.
I am able to export without music as pdf or video.
