LR Classic 6.0 cannot read photos using the Panasonic RW2 pic format

I would like to use the smaller as well as lighter Panasonic DMC LX100 camera but LR 6.0 is unable to develp the phptos due to the RW2 processing used by the camera.

How can LR 6.0 be updated to work with that camera?

That model has been supported since Lightroom 5.7. It should be fully supported by even Lightroom 6.0. What exact version of Lightroom 6 are you using?
