LR Classic 8.3.1 Edit in PS 20.0.5 unable to view TIFF in collection

Not sure if exactly when this started, but I have had issues viewing saved edits in PS back in my LR collection.

Workflow is: Import RAW (Canon .CR2) into LR > Right-click image and edit in PS CC 2019 > Save (Not Save As) in PS

When I go back into Lightroom I cannot view the TIFF file. However, if I go to the folder where it is saved the TIFF is present. If I go to 'Import' from LR, the image appears in my collection. I have no filters selected. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Roberth,

    Sorry that Lightroom Classic is not saving your files back when edited in Photoshop as Tiff.

    Which version of Lightroom Classic are you using(check in Help> System info menu)?

    Also, I'd recommend you please take a look at the troubleshooting steps mentioned in this article 'Edit In Photoshop' command missing  and let us know if that helps?

    When I select the file from a collection and use the edit in PS function and save my edits, the tiff file is available for viewing in the collection and also in the folder where the original file is located.

    If I select the file from the original folder and use the edit in PS function and save my edits the tiff is available in the folder alongside the original file but is not available in the collection.

    This is as I would have expected.

    Thank you both for your input.

    What seems to have worked is resetting the PS general preferences. If you go to Edit>Preferences>General  and then click on 'Reset Preferences on Quit'. Closed out of LS and PS. It seems to be working now.

    Hello Akash,

    Currently running:

    LR 8.3.1

    PS CC 20.0.5

    The article you reference doesn't describe my issue, the command is present and I can edit. The TIFF file appears in my collection with the edits I made in PS, but it does not appear in Lightroom for any final processing, export, etc.
