LR classic after update v 15.0 can't work with macOS 15.6.1

After last update, Lr work as sh... First of all switching beteween photos takes ages. It's completly unworkable in meaning of professional edit. When changes as lens blur its visible only when comare to other picture. I'm using this program professionally almost 10 years and never worked as bad as this time.

Is any chance to step back before this update?

My iOS is Sequoia 15.6.1

working on mac Studio 2024

Hi @SergeiZ and @mtnrunner2

Please try creating a copy of the catalog you're working on, then optimize the original catalog using Lightroom Classic version 14.x by going to the File menu, then Optimize Catalog. Once done, try opening the catalog again in version 15.0.

Let us know if it makes a difference!
Thanks,
Nikunj

Maybe try updating to Sequoia 15.7.1 as well.

Same story,2 professional grade systems were flying in develop module both m3max and imac pro. 15.0 is unusable.  Reverted back to 14.5.1

@nikunj.m That worked, thanks!

It's funny because when I selected the menu item to optimize the 14.x catalog, it said "Your catalog was last optimized [about an hour prior when I last exited LR]", which implies it was already optimized when I last exited the app, so why wasn't the 14.x catalog I upgraded to 15.0 the first time also optimized? 🤷‍I also back up the catalog most of the time and always select the check integrity and optimize checkboxes. Maybe when I reverted to 14.x, going back to an optimized backup helped. I don't know, but glad it works now.

Same here but on Windows 11 25H2. After trying to upgrade to LR Classic v15 today, LRC says it can't open the converted v15 catalog due to "a data issue". I was able to go back to the prior version using the link posted here by @johnrellis , specifically in Creative Cloud > click Apps icon > then the 3 dots ("...") below Lightroom Classic >  and choose the latest 14.x version. The old catalog is backed up by the upgrade process, so just unzip the contents back to where you keep catalogs and open it.

You could revert back to LrC 14.5.1

Isn't it Mac OS 15.6.1 and not iOS 15.6.1? I don't think LrC runs on iOS. Or are you having a problem on a mobile device?

"Is any chance to step back before this update?"

See here for how to roll back to LR 14.5.1:

Note that by default you'll lose any changes you made since updating LR 15.

Hi, thanks for reaching out, and we're sorry about the trouble!

Please go to the Help menu in Lightroom Classic, then System Info, and copy the text. You can share the info with us by either pasting it as a reply here or in a text file and sharing the file with us.

Meanwhile, try adding Lightroom Classic to Full Disk Access and the Accessibility list for macOS using the steps suggested here: https://adobe.ly/3Lu6Uhf

Thanks,
