LR classic cc minimum CPU requirement - base speed

Looking at buying a new laptop for some photo editting (nothing terribly heavy, I have a FF 30MP camera and shoot raw) and considering one with a 1.8GHz base speed but with turbo of 4.9GHz, the i7-10510U specifically.

 

LR specs say minimum cpu speed of 2.0+. 

 

Are they talking base CPU speed or just that is should be able to run at at least 2.0GHz when needed?

They are talking about the minimum speed, so base speed which should be 2GHz. I think that 1.8 GHz would be too slow, even though the turbo speed is 4.9GHz. When considering CPU speed go with the base speed, and I would consider a CPU speed of higher than 2GHz, esp with Lightroom Classic.

I don't know what Adobe is talking about ... but 1.8MHz seems slow for 30MP raw images. Skimping to get a slow CPU is not a good choice with Lightroom Classic.
