I have the lastest LR classic 15.1 and whenever the PC awake from screen timeout, the LR and the whole system would freeze, causes PC automatically restart with the message of TDR error  or DPC watchdog violation. If I stops the GPU acceleration options in Preference>>Performance than everything is fine.

PC freezing and restarting is almost always a bad driver or a hardware malfunction. DPR Watchdog violations are usually bad drivers. Please read

Hi @KwokOn383392813459, welcome to the community!
That Windows error can sometimes be caused by storage issues or graphics driver problems. If turning off GPU acceleration makes the issue go away, it’s very likely related to the GPU. You can find more details about this here: https://adobe.ly/4pdDP87

Thanks a lot for your reply! I tried different solutions, including increasing the TDR delay time, reinstalling the NVIDIA RTX 5070 firmware, downgrading the firmware version of the RTX 5070, and also reinstalling Lightroom Classic, but the symptom is still there. This happens since the update of the lastest version of LR Classic.

Hi @KwokOn383392813459,

Could you share your System Info? You can find it in Photoshop under Help > System Info. Just copy the info to a text file and attach it to your response, or share it with us through Google Drive, WeTransfer, or another file-sharing platform.

Thanks!
