LR Classic: Importing photos to synology NAS

Dear Adobe community,

I recently switched from LR6 to LR Classic. Since then, unfortunately, I can no longer import photos from the camera or memory card. Once the import process starts, Lightroom imports some images and then freezes. LR must then be terminated via the task manager and the PC must be restarted. My setting: PC with Windows 11, Synology DS213+ NAS with 2x 12 TB hard drives. All programs are up to date. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks in advance!

PC must be restarted is almost always a driver problem or a hardware malfunction. When it happens during import, my first reaction is that the CPU is overheating, and you should check all fans to see if they are working properly, and that all vents in the computer case are unblocked by either dust or because they are up against a barrier like a wall or furniture. (Of course, there could be other problems as well)

Good morning and thank you for the fast response.

It is defenitly not a hardware problem. My PC is 6 months old, the hardware has enough power (CPU: 4%, RAM 35%).

The thing is, that the importing process works fine with LR6 but Lightroom Classic make troubles.

Importing photos to the PC owned SSDs is no problem, but when I try to move the photos from SSD to NAS via LR Classic, the programm freezes.

I reboot the PC because sometimes LR Classic doesn't work properly after the programm has crashed...
