Lr classic issue

Hi can someone please help with an issue I'm having with LR classic please see video attached. 

im using a brand new MacBook Air with M4 chip in it.

In the video, are you cycling from one image to the next? If that's what you are doing, the image with colored stripes is corrupted.

File corruption can happen in a number of ways:

Defective memory card

Defective memory card reader

Defective cable between the reader/camera and the computer

Defective USB port

Defective drive where the image is located.

If that is the only image showing corruption, you should be alert to future corruption issues.

Immediate actions would be to try different card reader, cable and USB serial port on the MB.

In my experience (not necessarily representative) with MacBook Pros over the years has been that two out of the last three MBPs I have had experienced failed USB ports.

Hi thank you for your reply the MacBook is literally brand new 2nd time using it. So possibly faulty cf card or reader. Although the picture does show but comes up with the coloured lines first very strange. I'll check with new pictures tomorrow. Typical as first time catching Airforce one.

Do not discount the possibility of a defective USB port. Try an different one if the problem persists. The problems I had were on like new MBPs.
