LR Classic Mac no longer shows roll paper option

When I try to print from LR Classic on my up-to-date Mac M4 Mini, the “Roll paper” option is no longer available in the Print Module. Borderless options remain. But when I print with a borderless setting, the images come out only 10” wide, despite being set up larger. I uninstalled/reinstalled the printer (Epson P5300),  no luck. I can print from Epson Print Layout fine but want to print from LRC as usual. Any thoughts?

Hey, @mc31803971. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I’ll help you figure this out. I’ll need more info to help you.

Here are a few things you can try:

    • Reset Lightroom Classic following the second (manual) method from this article: https://adobe.ly/4fOPxm4

    • Go to File > Create new test catalog, and in the new catalog, import a few images and set up a print template.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

@Sameer K Thank you! I followed those directions but came up with the same thing. And when I print with borderless setting on 17” roll, the image is only 10” wide.

Thanks for the tag. This looks like a printer/driver issue on macOS, not a Lightroom Classic bug. The missing Roll Paper option and 10″ clamp are classic symptoms of a broken Epson queue or an AirPrint driver being used instead of the full Epson driver.

Head here to learn more from Epson: https://www.epson.co.uk/en_GB/faq/KA-01083/contents?loc=en-us
