LR Classic only opens in background

All of a sudden Lighroom Classic will only open in the background.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it still doesn't work properly.

And 'Corrupt Catalog'? Try opening from a backup catalog.

RESTORE A CATALOG FROM BACKUP

You probably won't like to hear this, but this issue gets reported regularly, and I am not aware of a solution. You probably need to search the forums for similar posts and see if there is a solution out there somewhere.


As a wild guess, please see if the suggestions in this thread help, especially the suggestion about Alt-Space and then M. I can't test it because my LrC doesn't display this problem.
