LR Classic opens when it shouldn't

LR Classic, v13-3, Windows 10.  I don't want LR to open when I insert an sd card.  The box in Preferences is already unchecked but it still opens.

Have you restarted LrC since you made the change?

No I haven't, but I just put the card in the card reader and it didn't open
LR, which is what I wanted.

In Windows settings, go to Devices > AutoPlay, and make sure that Memory card is set to Take no action under AutoPlay defaults.
