Question

LR Classic - Secondary Display - Different Filter?Selection

When covering larger events I often share 50 or so images the following morning. I flag them to facilitate export. I then return to continue editing the remainder. Is there any way to vary what I see on the Secondary Display from what I am working on via the Primnary Display.

Example:

Display 1 - The Remaining images that are unflagged/un-culled.

Display 2 - The Previously flagged images.

That way I can continue to edit and ensure I am not giving multiple versions of very similar images.

Any way to achieve that?

Several ways to do this without involving separate monitors

  • In the Library filter bar, select the attribute, perhaps flag status as desired
  • Insert a keyword such as Edited, and filter on the inclusion/exclusion of that keyword
  • You could instead, create one or more collections, place unedited in one, edited in another. Could be Smart Collection(s)

By the way, in the Develop Module, just above the filmstrip, you can change what folder. what collection, etc. is shown in the filmstrip.
