LR Classic synch issue

Dear all, after searching online and contacting the support, I still have the following issue:

 

LR Classic synchs a bigger number of photos for days now without any progress (blue symbol on the cloud on upper right corner). At the same time synch activity is said to be 0 (download, uploads, pending). Also in LR mobile no photos are shown as "synch in progress".

 

I do not need the synch of the old photos (deleting photos didn't help), but due to this problem, new photos in Classic are not synched with Mobile and vice versa.

 

Any ideas how to handle this?

Did you already try to reset the sync data as described here: https://lightroomkillertips.com/sync-stuck/

@F. McLion thank you for the link! Unfortunately it does not help as my situation is a bit different as sync activity (upload, download/pending) is 0. The synch is only shown with the blue symbol in the upper right corner (eventhough I deleted most of the 3737 photos, so only 150 are actually left - but it also did not help).

Where did you delete the photos?

Login here: https://lightroom.adobe.com/home and check the status and the trash bin.

From LrC, only collections are synced, as Smart Previews. I still don't understand your process. It might help to explain with a tick more details.

Also, it shows 3.6GB used cloud space, whereas synced collection usually do not count against this space.
