LR Directory Structure Issues

Somehow my directory structure has gotton all messed up and lightroom cannot locate a substancial majority of my pictures on my HDD (approx 2TB +). Has anyone any experience with unisntalling LR, reorganizing the HDD and reisntalling LR to use the new directory structure?

Any idea what happened that might cause this? Did you, or a program that you use, move or rename or delete the photos files or their folders? Did you unplug the external drive with the photos and then re-plug it in at a later time?

OneDrive took over, i have told LR what folder to look in out of the preferences, so its all good now.

never mind- i believe i solved the problem. OneDrive decided to take over my catalouge name location.

Uninstalling and reinstalling Lightroom will not solve this issue and is totally useless. The catalog contains the folder structure, not the application. You need to 'reconnect' that structure to the real situation on the HDD.
