I recently changed from windows 10 to a MacBook, new to apple.

When I want to take an image from LR to lets say Topaz Studios I get this error message. How to fix?

Thanks in advance,

Jan

Lightroom

was unable to prepare the selected file at /Volumes/Drobo/Jan's Photos/Jacksonville Zoo_2016-June 10/Jacksonville Zoo_2016-June10-0077.NEF for editing.

It will not be opened.

I don't think it's a Topaz issue as I also can't save an image in PS and save back to LR without a similar error message, got to figure out the word "VOLUMES"?

(Simple explanation from a PC person-) In a PC we refer to Hard drives as C:drive D:Drive, etc.  Macs refer to them as Volumes.

Do a forum search for "Drobo" as there has been similar posts to yours with Drobo problems.

Consider- Permissions (most likely), Illegal characters in folder/file names, NAS setup, etc.

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.3, Photoshop 27.5, ACR 18.3, Lightroom 9.3, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.3 .
