Lr freezes when toggling masks on and off

Please help! After toggling on and off a mask on the mask panel Lr freezes frequently. I have this problem for several months on Monterey and Sonoma and I update Lr regularly.

I am sorry not to be precise, but the problem is gone maybe after a chat with ADOBE or after an update, i am not sure.

It happens in an another cat. too. But I will create a completely new cat. for testing.

I have created a new catalog including 3 files from the old catalog, via the "export as catalog" command. I have tested extensively without a problem up to now. My next question is what I need to do with my main old catalog where I have all projects of my lab.

A better way to show that system info, and a request:

Please post your System Information as Lightroom Classic (LrC) reports it. In LrC click on Help, then System Info, then Copy. Paste that information into a reply. Please present all information from first line down to and including Plug-in Info. Info after Plug-in info can be cut out as that is just so much dead space to us non-Techs and it takes up vast amounts of scroll space making the reply less readable and less likely that others will bother with your post.
