LR Hanging on Startup Ventura 13.0.1 LR Classic V 12.1

Lightroom hanging on startup 

 

Mac OS Ventura 13.0.1

LR Classic 12.1

 

Either trying to start with upgraded catalog from my laptop, or upgrade the old catalog. Same result. Beachball of Death.

 

Ideas?

Do you get as far as the splash screen?

In the splash screen, does it state opening or reading preferences? And hangs at that point?

I start the application, pick the new catalog either the new catalog or the old catalog. It starts, I see my window. But as soon as I move my cursor over anything it instantly goes into beachball of death mode, Then when I hit apple symbol | Force Quit | It shows as unresponsive, no matter how many hours I leave it running
