LR has suddenly stopped importing DNG/jpeg photos from my DJI Mavic 3 Pro

Up to mid-September I could happily import DNG/jpeg files from my DJI Mavic 3 Pro into Lightrooom just like any other photos (i.e. from my Nikon cameras) without any problem. Now, all of a sudden, I've tried to import some new images and, although I can see them and select them in the import window, they do not come up in my chosen destination folder on the right like other files do, and when I click on 'Import' I get the 'Copy and Import' bar come up top left but absolutely nothing happens and then I have to cancel the operation. Incredibly frustrating when something that had been so faultlessly easy and (to me) should present no difficulty to the program, suddenly stops working.
I've changed nothing in my operating system (Windows 10), nothing on the drone and nothing in terms of settings and have the latest LR Classic version installed plus have updated Camera RAW to the latest. The program continues to import my Nikon image files without issues as it has done for the last several years.
