Lr i freezes, computer performance not enough?

My first post...

I have problems with my computer. After switching on disk red light is on aprox 30 minutes, during this time better to not run any apps on computer. After that, when i doing my job with photos on LrC i PS, LrC is working very bad, freezes, thinking a lot, hdr processing take a lonh time. Computer has a 6 years old, but during this years i have na problems with Lr.

Main disk is divided, on secend partition are my original photos from Lr. 1TB is almost done.

Is my konfiguration old?
