Question

LR+MACOS MONTEREY 12.3.1+D850

LR Develop module is very slow. I develop and it takes a few seconds to show me the modification.
This problem makes impossibile to work. I'm professional so I also have hundres files to develop at the same time. When I am in the develop module the picture is never sharp. To view it sharp I have to click on the picture itself to zoom in and then I can see it sharp.
Anybody has got the same problem? I'm gonna have a lot of work in a while and I can't work in this way. I thought about changin programm but I have studied so much LR, I don't want to change.
Thanks so much for helping,
Giorgia

Try changing the settings under Preferences->Performance->Use Graphics processor to see if this makes a difference.

Usually, this is hardware causing the slowness. Your camera is 45MP (that can stress some hardware), and it is made worse if you are using 4K or larger monitors, and it is made worse if you are doing a lot of local adjustments.

So what is your hardware (CPU, GPU, Monitor size)? What version NUMBER of Lightroom Classic? Are you doing a lot of local adjustments?

So 5K screen and 45MP images, this puts stress on the CPU. Did you try changing the settings of Use Graphics Process?
