LR on IPad

Hi,

I have a Licence LR for my MacBook and would like to load a version for IPad. There is a free LR available on Apple Store but do you know if, with my Licence on Mac, I can have access to another version (more sophisticated version) for IPad ?

I have contacted LR but there is no support for this kind of question ! Wouahhh great customer service!

Hi there,

 

We are sorry about the experience with support. If you are on a subscription, the mobile version of Lightroom is a part of the subscription. A similar version of not available for standalone licenses.

 

For mobile devices, we only have one version of Lightroom available. You can install the application on your iPad and use the features available for free. You can check: https://helpx.adobe.com/mobile-apps/help/lightroom-mobile-faq.html#lightroom_mobile

Hi,

I am really sorry but it does not work -> Your reference shows a screen with 404, page not found !!! 

I am very disappointed. You subscribe a licence to LR, you ask "How to load an iPad version with your licence" (subscription) and after ONE week, nobody at Adobe is able to simply answer to this very basic question !!! or even worse: "This question is not supported by our customer service!". So, stay with your problem?
 
Probably am I the only one all around the world to ask this question?
I regret this lack of customer focus  attitude! 
Without clear and practical answer I will go through FaceBook, Twitter, ..... perhaps somebody will have an answer?

Ok I see you have now indicated that you have a subscription for Lightroom. If you open the Apple app on your iPad and do a search there for Lightroom Mobile. You should get the app available proceed to install and when you first open the app you will be requested to sign in to your Adobe a/c to activate the full functions of the app.

What EXACT version of LR is on your Mac and is it LR Classic, the Traditional version of LR, or the new Cloud Centric version of LR, Called just Lightroom.

 

Yes there is a Mobile version of LR that is free, with very limited feature without a Subscription plan to either versions of LR, and a Full blown feature set for users that do subscribe to either LR version subscription plans.

 

So the question is what exact version of LR do you have. To find out open LR on your Mac and go to the Help menu item and select System Info or About Lightroom.
