Question

Lr on Mac is not writing changes to catalog BUT the Catalog backup is OK

Just in case someone had the same problem and is able to help me.
I'm running Lr Classic on a macbook. Everything is updated, the computer is just 1 year old.

Just recently I've experienced that I lost some edits I did the day before... Proceeded as follow:

- Open LrC

- Make some edits on photos

- Close LrC, I do the backup on a different disk.

 

Then I open it again, same catalog, and at some point the edits are not present, they wheren't saved on the catalog. I check the backup and the edits are there. It seems like it has some problems, permissions or something like that, but no error shown.

Catalog is located into the User folder.

Please indicate the version number of the Lightroom app you are using and also the version number for macOS you are using.

 

 

@adolfboluda , you stated "Catalog is located into the User folder.".

Please indicate what you mean, is the Catalog on Dropbox or the like?

The computer is a Macbook Pro M2 from 2022, 13.3''

Catalog is located in /Users/Noelia/00 DATOS NOELIA/00 LIGHTROOM_NOET/BODAS NOELIA LR
