LR re-launched and lost all my images...help please

When I turned on my computer LR re-launched and updated into 5.7.1 "mobile" version on my Windows PC. None of my images, folders or catalogs can be found. Please advise on how to recover them from my previous and preferred version of 5.5. I was in the middle of a significant project :{

It would seem that you have created a new catalog. Go to File->Open Recent and see if there is another catalog you can choose.

I have tried that, only one is listed and checked "Lightroom 5 catalog.lrcat"
