LR v.13.4 slow

I updated to LR v13.4 this morning, and it has become incredibly slow. I'm on a MacBook Air M2, and it makes no difference whether graphics accelerations are turned on or off.

Does anyone else experience problems?

Did you update from v13.2, or from v13.3?

I ask because many members have issues just like that with v13.3. Especially those who SYNC to the cloud.

This inquiry only has merit if you did in fact have v13.2 running, and you did not have performance issues with it. The v13.3 seems to give many members performance issue that the listed items fixed in v13.4 does not address. So wondering if a new problem is occurring.

If you did not have v13.2, then you might consider letting LrC v 13.4 run overnight. Some Lrc v13.3 users have found that appears to remedy the performance issue (probably allows a stuck/slow SYNC to complete). Note that primary issue with v13.3 was a change in SYNC.

Slow at what tasks? Please be specific and detailed.

Thank you very much. I let the 13.4 run overnight, and that solved it.
