LR v. 6.7 crashing with Mac El Capitan v. 10.12.1

Hi,

When I synch multiple files in develop mode, and sometimes when I try to export from library mode -- LR crashes and I get a request to send the crash report to Apple.  Specs are LR v. 6.7 and Mac El Capitan v. 10.12.1

Also today there was an icon on my photos today that said "Metadata has been changed by both LR and another application.  Should LR import settings from disk or overwrite disk settings with those from the catalog".  So perhaps there is a software conflict with another application which is interfering with the metadata?

Is there any information on this situation and crashes that others are having?

Hi Mohit,

From another forum post, it appeared that I had to delete the pList preference in the Mac library --- this seems to have fixed the issue and crashed occurring.  I do very much appreciate your help and wanted to let you know this fix.  Thanks again and, best, Teri

Please update the Lightroom to its latest update and check if that helps, refer: Lightroom CC 2015.8 now available

Thank you so very much Mohit -- will do this now.  FYI, aside from LR, the only other open applications I was running at the same time were Mac Mail and Safari.  I will try using LR with these applications closed once I launch this new version to see if that prevents the crashes.  Thank you so very much and will keep you posted, Teri
