LrC 10.1 and PS 22.1 freezes my macbook in 30s after start!

I have something really weird, LrC 10.1 totally freezes my macbook (2015 15", Mojave), it takes only 30 seconds after starting LrC! AND also happens in PS, even if I start only PS, pull a raw and.....freeze!  WTF? Cursor is okay, but no respond at all! Had to restart manually.

LrC 9.4 is okay, I had to uninstall every Adobe app and install the older version. Also had other issue with LrC10, so this version is a huge mess. 😞 Pls fix it guys!

Suggest the first thing to try is turning off the GPU option in LrC.

If you can't get to the LrC preferences prior to your system freeze then look here for a method to turn that option off from outside LrC.

And Solution 2 from the link below

I tried to turn the gpu off, no changes. On the other hand, that is really ridicoulos, to turn it off. LrC should use gpu even more, because maybe that will help to speed up a little bit this slow app. 😞
Now I use the 9.4 version, both on macbook and desktop, and wait for some fixing...

You're completely correct, the advice to disable the GPU is poor. It's a serious bug, but Adobe is not acknowledging the severity of the problem. It will be interesting to see if they bother reminding users to re-enable their GPU once they actually fix this.
