LRC 12.2.1 - In the Library Module - using multi image - stacks missing

In the library module view, stack icons are shown in the grid but they do not appear in the filmstrip. No filters - cAN YOU ADVISE? Thanks.

Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll help you figure this out.

Right-click in the Filmstrip & go to > View Options > Show Stack Counts.

 

If this does not help, reset Lightroom Classic following the second (manual) method from this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/setting-preferences-lightroom.html

Since I am at work (and I only have Lightroom Classic at home), I can't try this myself, but you can try it and see what happens. In the grid: Expand the stack!
