LRC 13.0.2 on Win11 desktop, window vs screen size issue, and Library Module unwanted autoselect

LRC 13.0.2 on Dell desktop, Logitech K850 kybd, running Win11 with two monitor setup, Screen res 1920x1080.

1. LRC window opens with a resolution exceeding the monitor size enough to hide the window minimize/float option buttons that normally appear in the upper right hand corner  of that window. This basically removes my ability to close, minimize, and/or move that window to another monitor.

2. LRC Library Module automatically selects an additional (next sequential) image when a single image is selected. The additional image is not selected if more than one image is initially selected, but select just one image and, without any input from the operator, the next sequential image turns to a lighter shade of gray (selected)??

1. Increase the screen resolution, temporally, adjust the LrC screen, change your resolution back.

Re: LRC 13.0.2/Win11

The older monitor in my dual screen setup is a Samsung and, since updating the desktop to Win 11, it does not startup right away but eventually returns after a long warm up. When I start Lightroom Classic it appears on the newer main Dell monitor and I do all of my photo editing on that more modern display. However, because the second screen was still going through a warm-up period (blank), I was unaware that there was a second Lightroom X/Y Compare window open on the 'blank' older/second monitor.

I also found a video online that involved using Ctrl+Alt+key combination to resolve the Windows screen size issue.

Problem resolved. The oversize screen is a Windows problem that I have seen before many moons ago.

1. Sounds like you're in Full screen mode. Press Shift + F once or twice to return to normal screen mode. There are two full screen modes, with and without menu bar. Shift + F will cycle through all the screen modes. You can also control this from the Window menu > Screen mode.

2. Not sure what's causing this. Try resetting the preferences.
