LrC 14.5 - Import Hanging at Building Standard Previews

I've updated to 14.5 today on Windows 11 (24H2 - 26100.4946)

It used the GPU nicely and the import was MUCH faster overall.

However, twice it's hung at the last import or 6.

I imported 671 photos, and the first time it just hung at "Building Standard Previews 665 of 671".

I deleted all the images, and re-ran the import, and this time it hung at "Building Standard Previews 671 of 671"

While it's hung like this, the LrC process is using around 50% of my CPU.

I've left it for around 10 minutes, and nothing is happening, just using CPU doing nothing it seems.

Anyone else seeing something like this?

We need more informations about your system.

Please provide a copy of your 'System Info'. This can be get from the Photoshop menu item Help > System Info. There's a copy button in the System Info dialog. Press this button and paste the info into your next forum post.

Is your system up-to-date? Do you have installed all recent updates and patches for the operating system and the device drivers, especially the graphic driver. Please make also sure that you have installed the Studio version and not the Game Ready version of your NVidia driver.

My System: Intel i7-8700K - 64GB RAM - NVidia Geforce RTX 3060 - Windows 11 Pro 25H2 -- LR-Classic 15 - Photoshop 27 - Nik Collection 8 - PureRAW 6 - Topaz Photo AI

Just to add, I pressed the little red X next to the building previews job to close it, and while that went away, the CPU is still stuck at 50% or so, and LrC feels very laggy and slow.

Well after another attempt after several reboots, a GPU driver update etc... I didn't have the hanging at "Building Standard Previews 665 of 671".

But I do still have the high CPU usage while it's doing "nothing" after the import.

It's now just burning away at 40% CPU usage for no reason minutes after the import is all complete.
