Question

LRC 14 keeps hanging and won't import.

OK, I have reset the preferences. Reinstalled. Deleted the loc file. Created a new library on startup. When LRC runs - if it runs - it looks fine. I try and import images and it sits. Does nothing. I'll finally hit the little X by "importing images" - it can be 5 seconds of 5 hours later - and I see a notification that nothing was found to import. There are no filters set, all the options like "copy images" etc. are unchecked. When it does not run I'll check task manager, and sometimes see several instances - so I'll close them all. Try and run again. It may or may not run. Then it's back to the beginning of this message. Reinstall, delete, etc., etc.

Any suggestions? I really don't want to use PS to edit 1700 images but with the time I've wasted on this I probably could have.

What has been changed on your system before the error occur?

Is your system up-to-date? Do you have installed all recent updates and patches for the operating system and the device drivers, especially the graphic driver. If you have a NVidia graphic card installed, make sure that you are using the recent Studio version of the driver, not the Game Ready version.

Please provide a copy of your 'System Info'. This can be get from the LrC Help > System Info menu item. There's a copy button in the System Info dialog. Press this button and paste the info into your next forum post.
