LRC Collection order does not match Album order online

I'm using LRC on a Mac running Sonoma 14.5. My LRC is at version 13.4. I have a collection of photos for a presentation that I have sorted in a Custom order. By custom I don't mean one of the choices that LR has, I mean truly custom, where I've dragged the photos to the specific order that I want. 'Custom Order' is the choice on my Collection in LRC. I've synced this collection to the web. When I go to 'lightroom.adobe.com' and sign in, I have the Album, but the order is not correct. I can select 'Custom Order' for the Album, but that doesn't seem to change anything. I can go to the Slideshow module, but the order matches the Album order, and there is no option for 'Custom' in that section, only the canned choices like Capture Time etc. I've read lots of threads on this topic and I've tried making my collection 'Public' and waiting 24 hours and still the order does not change. My sync does not show errors and is complete. LRC shows 131 images in the collection, while the web only shows 130, and I haven't been able to determine which one is missing. On the web I cannot move the photos around to change the order. Is there any way at all to have the truly custom order I set on LRC to reflect on the web? The good news is that in every other place, except LRC, the order is exactly the same in each place. It's just not what I want. I know that I could rename the photos in the collection in some numerical order and then use that online, but it would rename the originals and I don't really want that.
