LrC doesn't import attributes attached to Fuji .RAF raw files added in Lightroom online

Steps to reproduce bug:

- Import a mix of Sony ARW and Fuji RAF in LrC in a collection

- Sync this collection with Lightroom

- Add attributes (stars, flags) in Lightroom (cloud-based) - Windows client in that collection

- Notice that attributes aren't synchronized back in LrC only on Fuji RAF files (Sony files are OK)

I identified the bug by manually copying all files with attributes in a new collection

Using LrC 12.4 for Mac

Lightroom Windows client 6.2

Hey @Stephen Byerley. I've tried to recreate this with sample images from Fuji X T2 on Lightroom v6.4 & Lightroom Classic 12.4 on Windows & the issue did not recreate on the test machines.

Before troubleshooting, please update Lightroom on Windows to the latest v6.4 from the Creative Cloud desktop app & then launch it & keep it idle for some time.

Try this:

  • Log on to Lightroom Web & check the images in question to see if the star ratings are synced first to the cloud.
  • Keep Lightroom Classic open on the other machine & wait for the sync to finish. If there is no activity, try adding a bunch of flags or ratings to images that have synced already to push the sync in Lightroom Classic.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

Hi Sameer

Thanks for your reply. Looks like it's working now after updating to the latest Lightroom on Windows client.

I did in the past try to force a new resync by adding more flags/stars to a collection, to no avail. The flags were showing on the cloud but weren't synced back to LrC.

Will reopen the thread if I encounter this problem again.

Cheers

Stephen
