LRC doesn't "open as layers in Photoshop" since last update yesterday

Since I updated both LRC and Photoshop to the latest versions yesterday I cannot open several images from LRC into Photoshop 25 as layers anymore. I saw other people having the same problem but still couldn't find a fix for that. The problem might as well be related more to Photoshop, not sure. After I reinstalled an older Photoshop version (24.7), I can open as layers again, but I'd like to also use the new features like Generative Fill, so this is not an ideal solution. Any ideas? My system is a Macbook Pro M1 from 2020 running Ventura 13.5.1.
