LrC Freezing Mac OS 12.6 on 2021 MacBook

LrC 12.0.1 is freezing and takes several minutes to respond to Force Quit - thus freezing up my computer. This was happening with 12.0 so I was happy to see an update thinking it would sort it out but it hasn't (although it is not as frequent). It mostly happens when moving file folders within LrC but also with other tasks.
