Question

LRC hangs when selecting Print.

Hello,

LRC as of today is hanging when I try to enter the print module. CPU usage sits around 5%. WIN 11 updated yesterday(24H2  KB5053598) and all three local versions of photoshop also stopped printing (Hung). Resolved by restarting each version holding the Shift Alt Ctrl keys during start. Also had to hold space bar (While entering print module) for one image I needed to print.
I don't normally print from LRC, but it is convienent at times to do so. So would be nice to have a fix for LRC.

Thank you,

Try to deinstall the KB5053598 and check if printing is working again.

I read that some users have problems after installation this update. But I found no detailed informations.

Hey, @chrisf77939942. Welcome to the Lightroom Classic Community. Thanks for adding the system info.

Have you recently updated the OS or the way the printers are paired with your machine?

As primary steps, try this:

  • Reset Lightroom Classic following the second (manual) method from this article: https://adobe.ly/4fOPxm4
  • Reconfigure, or set up again the Printers to your machine and set a printer as the default.

Let me know how it goes. Thanks!
