LrC has stopped importing photos taken on my iPhone

LrC suddenly will not import images taken on my iphone Xs though it will import images sent to that phone by others. I returned from holiday, upgraded my phone to 16.0.3 then tried to import and discovered the problem I mention.

I get the messsage "Not imported because file could not be read or destination folder not writable"

Thanks Sameer.

 

The problem was actually with my iphone and not the computer. Also I have just (in the last hour) updated my phone to IOs 16.1 and Lightroom still sees my phone but shows none of the photos on it. So even worse now.
